French

At Karol Centre, French language teaching is based on modern pedagogical methods and high-quality educational materials, tailored to all levels and the individual needs of our students. Our aim is to develop all four key language skills — speaking, listening, reading, and writing — while providing thorough preparation for official language certifications.

DELF A1 & DELF A2 (Prim / Junior)

At these beginner levels, young learners are introduced to French through interactive and experiential methods, carefully adapted to their age and needs. We use a combination of quality printed and digital materials to support the development of the four core skills — speaking, listening, reading, and writing — through creative activities such as games and songs.

Key Objectives:

  • Gradual development and enrichment of vocabulary
  • Consolidation of basic French grammar rules
  • Building confidence for fluent and comfortable communication
  • Supporting the development of all four language skills through creative activities
  • Opportunity to take the official DELF A1, A2 Prim & Junior certifications, confirming progress and familiarising children with exam requirements

DELF B1 – DALF C2

Preparation at the DELF B1 to DALF C2 levels focuses on comprehensive mastery of French, covering all the skills required for success in official language examinations. The programme includes:

  • In-depth, systematic development of vocabulary and grammar, aiming for accuracy and fluency in both spoken and written expression
  • Intensive practice in listening comprehension and reading of authentic, challenging texts aligned with exam standards
  • Development of strategies and techniques to effectively tackle all exam components, supported by regular mock tests and past-paper analysis
  • Individualised monitoring of each student’s progress, with frequent feedback and guidance to meet personal needs and maximise performance

Our teaching staff consists of qualified and experienced educators, specialising in DELF and DALF exam preparation. Combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience, they provide personalised support to help each student achieve their learning goals and develop confidence in using French.
